Charl & Bruce’s wedding at Heisen House Vineyards was so dang cute. Cowgirl boots, karaoke, pie cupcakes and a gorgeous sunset all had a place at the wedding and I loved every second of it. Charl & Bruce’s wedding was particularly important to me because I was given an amazing opportunity to create unique photos. Charl & Bruce asked me if I could somehow incorporate photos of their brothers into their wedding photos. They each have a brother that has passed away and I can only hope that the photos I created will fill their hearts with warmth and remembrance. Their brothers were there in spirit and I feel so honored to be able to use photography in such a meaningful way. Congratulations, Charl & Bruce!

Shalini & Andre's Wedding at Cannon Beach

Shalini & Andre's wedding at Cannon Beach was just plain beautiful. In my opinion, Cannon Beach is one of the most magical places in the world. The first time I went there I was in awe. Being from the East coast, I'm not used to the mountains and cliffs scattered along the West Coast. When Shalini first contacted me, I was SO excited. I definitely wasn't let down. The details were perfectly executed, the weather couldn't have been better and Shalini & Andre are perfect together. The Holga images from their wedding are some of my favorite Holga wedding photos so far. The landscape was perfect for capturing romantic double exposures. I hope you enjoy!

Cait & Justine | "Till Death Do Us Part" Engagement Shoot | Lone Fir Cemetery | Portland, Oregon

Okay so where do i begin? Cait & Justine are both GORGEOUS and AWESOME and I'm in love with these photos! When I found out I was shooting their engagement photos I was so excited because I knew they were up for doing something a little unconventional. We went to the Lone Fir Cemetery and the weather was perfect and the trees were in bloom. The theme of the shoot was "Til Death Do Us Part" and the Lone Fir Cemetery was the perfect combination of creepy and beauty. Then we set up some crazy colored lighting at their apartment and I would have taken photos all night if they hadn't stopped me! SO MUCH FUNNNN. & Of course I had to do some double exposures (taken with a Holga GCFN) and polaroids (Impossible Project Film - PX 600 Silver Shade) and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Eeeeee!!!!
