New print available - "Permanence in Paris" - abstract acrylic painting inspired by Paris

"Permanence in Paris" This is my most recent painting, attempting to fill the hole in my heart that Paris has created. I can't stop thinking about Paris and how badly I want to return! The cafes, the patisseries, the brasseries, the architecture, the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the romance, the art .... I didn't think I would miss it that much. In fact, I didn't think I'd ever need to go back. But there is something about Paris. Something magical.

How Long Jug Band - Portland, Oregon

My neighbor, Nick, is in this amazing band called How Long Jug Band. Not only do their personalities ooze with genuineness, their music is quite honest and lovable as well. Here are a few photos from a recent gig of theirs. The fall colors, pumpkin painting, and hard cider made me happy too :D

Stacie & Kevin

Stacie & Kevin's wedding was so FUN! With a bean bag toss, a moon bounce, a popcorn machine, a bonfire & a movie projector, there was plenty of fun to go around. The wedding was small and intimate, but there was no lack of attention to detail. The bouquet (TreeTownPaper) was unique and stunning, the caricature artist, Kyle Edgell, perfectly captured the guests, and the brightly colored balloons brought the wedding to life. Here are some of my favorites from Stacie & Kevin's wedding on September 30th.
