Maria & Nick's wedding in Aloha, Oregon was so beautiful and emotional. I've known Maria and Nick for a while now and am so thrilled that I got to be there to see them tie the knot! Maria loves her cat as much as I love mine, so I couldn't resist taking tons of adorable photos of him. They even bought a little tux for him! Maria is such a sweet person and it showed all throughout her wedding day. She wrote letters to each of her bridesmaids, her parents and her grandma. I was nearly brought to tears just watching them read the letters! Maria & Nick kept checking in throughout the day to make sure that Chris and I were doing okay. They didn't let the stresses of the day get to them and Maria's contagious laugh kept everyone in a positive mood throughout the night.

Styled Bridal Shoot | Kiyokawa Orchards in Hood, River | Oregon Wedding Photography

I recently collaborated with a few local Portland businesses for my first styled bridal shoot! It took place at Kiyokawa Orchards in Hood River, Oregon. We had a great team and I love the way it all turned out. The models were amazing (seriously, the best kid models you could ask for!), the props and table settings were beautiful and the weather was perfect! Even going through the photos now, I can't believe how yummy the pies look! Which reminds me, I couldn't be more excited for the holidays and time to catch up on my posts. Ashley & Justin's Engagement Session in Newport, Oregon | Portland, Oregon Wedding Photography

Ashley & Justin's Engagement session in Newport, Oregon is definitely in my top 3 engagement shoots so far. We started at the Oregon Coast Aquarium and then headed down the coast to Seal Rock State Park. I couldn't believe what an amazingly gorgeous location it was. The sun was casting magical light onto the water and I could not stop taking photos! I'm still in awe of the coast every time I go. I'm used to the flat east coast beaches, not the cliffs and giant rocks and seals everywhere! I love it so much. I also can't help but mention the fact that Chris and I saw a full double rainbow on the ocean the next morning during sunrise. Unforgettable. Ashley & Justin are so cute together and I couldn't be more excited to shoot their wedding next year. I'm also totally obsessed with Ashley's hair color. So incredible!
