Emma & Greg's Harry Potter themed Wedding | Portland Wedding Photography

Emma & Greg’s Harry Potter themed wedding was SO fun to photograph. From the wands to the Hogwarts cake to the Golden Snitch earrings, I loved every second of it. Chris and I have recently taken on the challenge of watching all of the Harry Potter movies. So far we’ve only made it through 5 of them, but we’re almost there!

Emma found me on Offbeat Bride (which you should definitely check out if you’re in the process of planning a wedding… especially because I offer a discount if you find me through that site wink wink). I only had 3 hours to shoot this wedding so it went by really fast, but I still totally got into the Harry Potter spirit! This wedding kind of speaks for itself so I’ll leave you to it. :)

Iron Oxide Designs Look Book

Back in the fall, I photographed Iron Oxide Design‘s Winter Look book. I posted most of these photos on various social media, but it’s about time I did a full blog post from the shoot. It was such a blast working with these ladies, and I loved the way it all turned out. Taylor & Jazmine of Savage Models were both incredible models and fit the vibe perfectly. Marie did a flawless job on hair and makeup, and Sabrina of Wolf Child assisted with the styling. She also just opened up a fashion boutique here in Portland called Altar, alongside another local designer, Cassie Ridgway. These girls are so talented and I can’t wait to see what the future brings for these beauties.

Ashley & Justin's Wedding at Shotgun Creek | Portland Wedding Photography

You might remember Ashley & Justin from their engagement session in Newport. They were so incredibly sweet and adorably perfect for each other. Their wedding took place at Shotgun Creek Recreational Site. There were tons of hidden trails in the woods, an open field where the ceremony took place, and a covered shelter for the reception. This couple was so easy to work with and I truly enjoyed getting to know their family. I loved the fact that the guests spent the majority of the evening playing volleyball, dancing their hearts out and just hanging out. Going through these photos again reminded me of how many awesome couples I’ve worked with and how lucky I am to be able to capture these memories for them.
