I really need to get back to blogging. I’ve been doing so many shoots lately, but I realized that I typically only post one photo from each shoot on instagram, and the rest of the photos are lost in the depths of my hard drive. I had so much fun shooting with Shawnee back in the fall, so here I am, finally sharing these with the world! Expect to see lots of blogs posts from me soon. I have so many things to show you! :)

A few months ago I teamed up with local hairstylist, Emily Mazour, to create this editorial. Emily had such a vision for this shoot. Buzz Siler’s beautiful paintings were the inpiration for Emily’s incredible hair concepts, and it all blended together so perfectly. The dresses are by a 15-year old designer, Kate Miles. I’m still in awe about that! The whole team was just amazing, and I’m obsessed with all of the bright colors from the shoot. I’m seems like I’m always shooting dark fashion so it was nice to change it up!
I’m so excited that Brazilian e-magazine, Valentina, chose to feature our shoot in their March issue and that I can finally share these with you!

Emma & Greg's Harry Potter themed Wedding | Portland Wedding Photography

Emma & Greg’s Harry Potter themed wedding was SO fun to photograph. From the wands to the Hogwarts cake to the Golden Snitch earrings, I loved every second of it. Chris and I have recently taken on the challenge of watching all of the Harry Potter movies. So far we’ve only made it through 5 of them, but we’re almost there!

Emma found me on Offbeat Bride (which you should definitely check out if you’re in the process of planning a wedding… especially because I offer a discount if you find me through that site wink wink). I only had 3 hours to shoot this wedding so it went by really fast, but I still totally got into the Harry Potter spirit! This wedding kind of speaks for itself so I’ll leave you to it. :)
