Breakfast Crew - Rugby | Music Video Release

Hey world!

My band, Rugby, released a brand new music video and single this week called “Breakfast Crew”. It’s quirky, light-hearted and filled with lots of bright colors, breakfast food and cats. I also edited, directed and starred in the video alongside my boyfriend, Chris. It was quite an experience learning how to put all the pieces together, but we are super excited about how it turned out. We have plans of many more videos in the future so make sure to check back on our YouTube channel. :) We are in the process of finishing a full-length album, expected to release before the end of the year, called “Worldly Wise”. We will also be posting some upcoming shows around the PNW on our facebook page, so stay tuned!

He is incredibly talented and has worked on tons of other music videos as well (he also has a pretty amazing cheez whiz cameo in the video). Gina Campbell did a phemonemal job on hair and makeup, as usual. My friend, Allison, wrote a lovely review of the video and song on her blog, Votre Grande Soeur. Thank you so much to everyone that has been a part of this video and helped promote it. We truly appreciate it!

Shae Rae - Day 1 | Portland Portrait Photography

A few months ago I decided to challenge myself to 14 days of photo shoots. There are so many talented models in and around Portland and it seemed like a great idea to get to know some of them. I was so excited when Shae agreed. I’ve been following her on instagram (theavalanches_) for a while now, and I somehow had no idea she was living in Portland! When I found out, I knew I had to get in touch with her. As you can tell, she's totally gorgeous and so fun to work with. We explored Forest Park and searched out the sunspots. :) Gina (thebirdbones) did hair and makeup of course, and we decided to go for a golden-goddess-in-the-woods sort of vibe. I love the way it all turned out, and I feel so lucky to know so many talented and lovely women.

Sam & Jordan | Portland Engagement Photography

I’ll be photographing Sam and Jordan’s wedding this fall and I can hardly wait. These two make such a gorgeous couple, and I loved hanging out with them during their engagement shoot. We started off at Prettyman’s General, one of their favorite bars in SE Portland. It’s right next to Coava Coffee on Hawthorne (my all-time favorite Portland coffee). Then we headed into the SE industrial district and wandered around together. I experimented with a few different film cameras (those images are at the end of the post) and I love what we ended up with. They were amazingly patient in dealing with my constant camera switching. :) Stay tuned for their wedding photos in the fall!
