I seriously can't believe it's already August. In fact, it's basically September at this point! This year FLEW by. I've been a part of the most amazing weddings this year; from the top of Mount Hood to surprise wedding llamas to the clear blue pools at Opal Creek. Not to mention, I got married too! My couples were definitely adventurous this year so I can't wait to see what kinds of weddings take place next year! 

2018 is filling up fast already (so crazy)! My band Rugby released a summery new music video today! | PDX Music Videos & Photos for Bands

Hi friends!!!

When I'm not photographing weddings, I keep myself plenty busy with other creative projects. My husband, Chris, and I are in a band together called Rugby and we are so excited to release our new music video today! The video is for our single, "Treasure Racer" off of our latest album, Worldly Wise. 

Chris and I filmed most of the video last summer with our GoPro in the Outer Banks while we were on vacation with my family. The rest was filmed in my studio here in Portland. I edited the video myself (with creative input from Chris) and spent most of this winter working on it.

Erika & Ben's Rustic Nordic/Viking Wedding at Crimora Mine Retreat in Virginia

I'm still obsessing over these photos from Erika & Ben's wedding last October. It was perfectly stylized and the colors were so magical. It's always nice to have a reason to visit Virginia since my family is from there, especially during the fall. When Erika emailed me and mentioned that the vibe of the wedding would include lots of fire, foliage, crystals and furs I was super excited. Erika's hairstyle was definitely one of my favorites ever too and she's also just drop dead gorgeous! Watching Erika & Ben interact made me smile every time and it was obvious that they truly care for each other. I think my favorite part of their wedding was watching Ben and his friends sing and dance to metal songs at the end of the night.

My husband, Chris, of In Debut Music, was the DJ for their wedding. I'm so lucky to be able to work alongside him in my full time job. We offer a special discounted package if you book us together and we are willing to fly anywhere and everywhere for a wedding!
