Always always always excited to shoot with lovely Holly Stalder, an incredibly talented and sweet designer located here in Portland. Her boutique, Haunt, is one of my favorite stores around because of it's array of one-of-a-kind vintage and handmade clothing. Holly and I have worked together quite a few times, but I'm consistently inspired by her creations. She even designed my wedding dress for me last April! She is truly a gem in the Portland fashion world. Below are my personal favorite images from the SS18 Lookbook we photographed last month. The photos are a mixture of film and digital, and feature the stunning Anna Kate of Reaction Models. My all-time favorite hair and makeup artist, Gina Campbell, killed it with the looks for this shoot. I could honestly work with these ladies every day for the rest of my life and be happy. <3

Ashley & JT's Love & Llama filled Wedding at Rebers Riverside | Portland, Oregon Wedding Photography
Ashley & JT's wedding at Rebers Riverside is definitely one of my favorites to date. Ashley & JT have been friends of ours for a little while now and I was so excited when they asked Chris and I to be a part of their wedding. They are both hilarious, talented and super sweet people. The best part about this wedding? Their friends surprised them with a visit from Portland's very own Wedding Llamas! It was kind of the most amazing wedding gift ever. Not to mention, the photo of Ashley & JT with the llamas went viral on instagram (thanks to The Knot for the repost!) because they are so dang cute. Ashley & JT just have such positive spirits and it's obvious how much they adore each other. I'm honestly so in love with their love, I'm tearing up as I'm going through these photos again!

Las Vegas on Film | Holga, Polaroid, 35mm
For my birthday last month, Chris and I flew to Las Vegas for a long weekend. We met up with my mom and sister and took sooo many photos. I'm lucky that my sister obsesses over capturing every moment of our trips like I do. We pretty much decided we only go on trips for the photographic opportunities. Then we go home and scrapbook the whole dang thing. Kinda nerdy but what else are we gonna do with all those photos?
I've been slowly transitioning into shooting only film, and I realized on this trip that digital photography has pretty much phased itself out of my life. I used to take hundreds of digital photos every trip, with a few random film photos scattered in-between. In Vegas, I took about 30 digital photos total, and the rest was all film. It's taken a while to get to this point. I think I was mostly afraid that my film photos wouldn't turn out and that I wouldn't have any photos from my trip. But I feel such a connection to film photography, so I'm always much more excited about the images I get at the end of it all.
