Richmond, Virginia & Washington, DC Food Photography | Natural Light Photography for Restaurants & Small Businesses

If we’re being honest here, food is my favorite thing to photograph. It doesn’t move, it looks beautiful and then you get to eat it! Over the last few years, I’ve been working for a few different companies in Portland, photographing some of my all-time favorite restaurants like Screen Door, Holiday & Fifty Licks Ice Cream. My sister & I both love to bake and cook as well, so we started an instagram (@cestlebrie) where we post all of our favorite food experiences. She lives in DC and I live in Richmond, Virginia now so we finally live close enough that we get to share some of these experiences! I’m excited to start photographing some of the amazing restaurants here in Richmond and in DC too!

The past few weeks have been CRAZY. My husband, Chris, and I visited Japan for 10 days and then packed up our apartment as soon as we returned and drove 3000 miles across the country. We are now officially based in Richmond, Virginia and we can’t wait to start booking East Coast weddings. This is all I personally care about in a camera which is why it’s in my Top 5, for sure.
